These butterflies are just too cute...I took a bunch of these to work this week and they sold like wild fire! The frosting on top is so light and fluffy, they literally melt in your mouth...

Another celebration..another cupcake!!

Tarn was treated to a cupcake tower filled with green and pink 'cuppies' and she had to race Oscar and Jacson to the top cake! (Oscar won...) We had a great night with a lot of laughter!!!

Happy Birthday Madeline...

Madeline decided that she wanted Cupcakes for her birthday instead of a boring birthday cake...who wouldn't! Colour of choice was blue and they stood proudly on an all white stand surrounded by admiring kids! Even the adults couldn't resist.. "I'll just try one!!"

Another Day, Another Dozen...

A funky alternative to the boring birthday cake!!

I created these black and pink cupcakes for a 21st birthday party over the weekend using pale pink frosting with a black glitter star perched high on top... pretty & elegant looking if I do say so myself!!

The frosting on my cupcakes sits about 5 cm high, so when a group of cakes is placed together they really do create a talking point & when stacked onto a cupcake tower they make a fantastic centrepiece at any party.

The Garden Delight cupcake is the latest addition to the 'Cupcakes By Kimmy' menu. With a range of bright colours available to mix and match, topped off with a gorgeous butterfly, there isn't a prettier way to celebrate your next event... Irresistible...

Here we are again...

My latest order was for 2 dozen cupcakes in gold and pink...this was a new experiment for me as I had not yet had the chance to use my beautiful gold edible glitter, so I set to work in great anticipation...

I decided to cover one dozen in pink frosting and one dozen in white frosting and cover both with the matching glitter colours. Take a look at the end result and also the cute little butterflies I created for the toppers.

Hi there! Thanks for stopping in for a peek at the latest addition to the 'Cupcakes By Kimmy' empire...

Alright, not an empire yet, but certainly growing strong and gathering a rapid pace of admirers and customers. Thank you all!

I am a 28 year old living on the Gold Coast, Australia with my fiance, Justin and two sons, Jacson and Oscar. They are where my love, hope, ambition and purpose all come from and are a constant source of laughter and happy memories.

It started with my enjoyment in making the boys cupcakes at home that got me started on the 'Cupcakes' path and I have never looked back. In October 2009 I made 60 cupcakes for my own engagement party and frosted and decorated each one individually in black cases with white frosting and black hearts. They looked elegant (if I do say so myself!) and people were raving about them...much to my surprise! No-one outside the family had tasted my cuppies before and I was glad to see it wasn't just Oscar who enjoyed them so much!

So I got started on selling cupcakes at my office individually and was soon receiving orders for cupcakes by the dozen. Yay! I have recently completed a marathon 11 dozen orders in one day...all to be delivered on Christmas Eve...Thanks Jacson for all your help!
